Where Did September Go?
Hard to believe that September has already come and gone. Things are so busy at school that every day just seems to fly by! Molly is loving KG2 (Kindergarten Level 2) and is up every morning with very little coaxing... we need to enjoy this now as I know it won't always be this way! We have really enjoyed all the 'new' things that we find everyday from new friends, new foods, new animals and insects!!! to a whole new way of getting things done - or not getting things done more often than not. We traveled to Dubai a couple of weeks ago and found a whole new city to explore - we will be going back quite often as there is so much to see and to do over there....and it's only an hour away. I am quite enjoying my new-found driving skills, but am a bit leery about how I will need to adjust when we come back to Canada to visit. Christine is loving her KG2 class and no surprise - the students and parents love her. It is sweet to walk by her room and hear the multiple accents calling our "Miss Christine" - they are very sweet kids. I have yet to have a day where I get through everything I'd hoped to and most days I never get to any of the things I wanted to - its a hectic pace, but the staff and students are great so it makes it all worthwhile. This month we have Open House at school for the parents to meet the staff and then have what we call "Fall Festival" at the end of the month where the kids get to dress up in costumes and have treats and participate in a variety of activities - all put on by a group of extraordinary parents call our VIP's (Very Important Parents) Molly is looking forward to that (she has already purchased her Wonder Woman costume and the complex that we live at has organized a Halloween parade and trick or treat time so she will not miss the fun that we are used to back in Canada. That's it for now - thank you to all of you who continue to email and skype with us...it's great to hear from you and we look forward to seeing you all when we get back for Christmas (Dec 16 - Jan 6) Right now we need to go online and book our November vacation as we have a 6 day break and can't decide if we should go to Egypt, Jordan, or Cyprus...will let you know (tough life isn't it!)
